As part of the current economic crisis, youth unemployment is one of the effects that raise most concern amongst society. Currently, young people under 25 do not have the opportunity to work or are unemployed for over a year.
Therefore, measures to increase employment opportunities for this group of the society are necessary. This plan aims to prevent the risk of losing an entire generation for employment and its full participation in society.
For this purpose, the City Council promotes initiative that is articulated through two channels: a first measure is aimed at unemployed youth, with academic or professional training that lack work experience (PEJ Qualified) and a second measure is addressed unemployed young people who lack education or training (PEJ Unqualified).
