The City of Alzira, through IDEA, manages the employment programme INEM AGRÍCOLA within the frame of collaboration agreements between National Public Employment Service (Servicio de Público de Empleo Estatal - SEPE) and local corporations. 

 

The projects aims to overcome unemployment in agriculture in order to guarantee workers a income supplement through Special Employment Plans in Deprived Rural Areas (Planes Especiales de Empleo en Zonas Rurales Deprimidas). 

 

The condition to participate in this program is that the candidate must be part of the Agricultural Social Security System.

 

In phase I of the year 2014, was hired 114 agricultural workers (92 laborers, 20 supervisors and 2 managers) have carried out the work entitled “Tha Best for Rural Development of Alzira”.
