The objective set by the Department of Economic Development, Trade and Employment is to perform actions that promote directly or indirectly the development of commerce in Alzira.

 

Each year, the City Council of Alzira allocates part of its budget to promote employment and local development. It is done through the provision of grants and aids, given to entrepreneurs and established businesses in Alzira.

 

This measure is intended to combine all forms of economic development with the main purpose to return municipal resources to Alzira as economic activity.

 

Since 2012, the payment of this aid is done through the Alzira card. It is a VISA card that can be used exclusively in stores which have opted for this kind of payment.
